Not sure if he played, but he was at Dagenham & Redbridge for a while as No.2 to another welsh keeper Tony Roberts.

Re: Neville Southall
Southall was a brilliant grumpy keeper. He was ALWAYS the size of a house, yet very agile.

Best not to joke about Andy ANDREW Cole. Poor bloke's had renal failure and is on bonkers medication. Top striker, though, even if he played for...

Was a good keeper

Proper fat arse though... Christ...

Was large in his later years for Everton as well - but not like he is now, of course...

Oh yeah, that banner the Scousers did

Once a bin man, always a bin man

I guess they weren't impressed?

Takashi Miike 12:35 Fri Nov 27
Re: Neville Southall

Re: Neville Southall
Southall was quality.

Did he play for Dagenham late on in his career, or am I thinking of a different fatty who could still make the youngens look shit?

Steve P 12:30 Fri Nov 27
Re: Neville Southall
Yeah, The Flying Pig they used to call him, Cough.

Remember when Southall had the hump and sat in the goalmouth for the whole of half time, instead of going in the dressing room?

Re: Neville Southall
Talking about fat Scouse goal keepers, anyone here old enough to remember Tommy Lawrence?

Re: Neville Southall
Mickey Quinn is a bit of a unit isn't he?

Jan MOLBY must be massive these days as he was a dollop when he was playing.

Nobody and I mean NOBODY, is or was as large as Ade Akinfenwa

southwoodford 12:24 Fri Nov 27
Re: Neville Southall
He looked like that when he was still playing. Why would he look any different now?

cholo 11:35 Fri Nov 27
Re: Neville Southall
I remember a world class point blank save he made from a Leroy header.

Re: Neville Southall
Saw a pic of Andy Cole the other day, he's packing some timber. Albeit I think he's not well.
